Perhaps a beginning other than "Ah, Mabinogi [sic]" would have been more auspicious.</p> <p>It was pretty neat when he brought in a lute on Christmas eve - he was going to bring it in on New Year's Eve, too, but we weren't there to see it, of course. Part of the shame of seeing him lies, I think, in quitting so gracelessly; but then who really wants to spend New Year's Eve sorting checks for $9.50/hour?
